Comments Off Paul Casey is a professional golfer from England, who currently is a part of the top two professional golf tours of the world, the Europe based European Tour and the United States of America based PGA Tour. He had his greatest moment in his professional golf when in 2009; he scaled the top three of the Official Golf World Rankings.
Born in the Cheltenham region of England, the family of Casey moved to Surrey when he was six years old and it was here he finished his schooling before to the United States of America to study at the Arizona States University on a golf scholarship. Casey had an extremely distinguished career as an amateur golfer and he became the first man in the United States of America to win the Pac 10 Championships tournament three years in a row when he won the titles in 1998, 1999, and 2000.
In the final year that he won the title, Paul Casey even broke the record held by Tiger Woods when he shattered his score of 18 under par to score 23 under par 265. At home, back in England, Casey won back to back English Amateur titles in 1999 and 2000 as well. Casey was named in the Great Britain and Ireland squad for their title winning Walker Cup campaign of 1999 and he became the first golfer in over 70 years to record four wins without suffering a single defeat.
Paul Casey turned professional in 2001 and it was the same year he joined the European Tour, going on to win the Gleneagles Scottish PGA Championship in just his seventh event on the Tour. As of now, Casey has won one title on the PGA Tour, eleven on the European Tour as well as two titles on other Tours.

Matt Kuchar reveals anger management
Comments Off American golfer Matt Kuchar is one of the good guys of golf and there would hardly be anyone grudging on him winning the World Golf Championship Accenture Match Play Championship at Tucson, Arizona, as he secured his most memorable win till date on the US PGA Tour.
The American has revealed more than once that he is extremely lucky to be playing the sport he loves professionally and Kuchar smiled all the way as he defeated the defending champion Hunter Mahan 2 and 1 in the championship round of the tournament.
However, according to the admission of the 34 year old himself, he wasn’t always as placid on the course as he is now. A fire raged within him as a kid and it took a proper drenching to douse those flames of rage that burned within him. He is a lot calmer nowadays but sometimes, anger can still manage to get the better of him. According to the admissions of Matt Kuchar himself, he has been angry. He stated that he can remember getting into a lot of trouble because of his anger as a kid. He stated that he threw his club into the water and was made to go and get it himself.
He mentioned that after he had fetched the club, it was taken away from him and there was no punishment greater at that time. He stated that although he has learned his lesson since then, but admitted he still loses his cool and slams his club on the turf and curses and does all the things that normal people do.
Moreover, with the big names faltering, Matt Kuchar has stated that it is a great time to be competing in the sport at the time, adding that every week is a great opportunity for everyone.
Bubba Watson doesn’t like Match Play Golf
Comments Off Golf star Bubba Watson was never a man who bothered about the weather much. As a matter of fact, he just doesn’t like the concept of match play format. And he was blunt enough to admit it that he just doesn’t like match play golf, and would rather spend four days playing stroke play. Speaking to Golf.com from the Golf Club at Dove Mountain, Watson stated that one can make eight on one single hole and he is only one down. He mentioned that to him, it is not golf. He added that it should be played in way where everybody should get up there trying to shoot for a score.
On Tuesday night, almost 64 professionals warmed up under the idyllic desert conditions – with the refreshing breeze aiding the bright sky and the 70 degrees of heat. And there is every hope that they enjoyed the conditions because the location will be transformed into Turnberry. It is forecast that the weather will be extremely unpredictable over the next few days and things might just get a lot challenging considering the severe conditions of the weather. But Bubba Watson is just not concerned about how the weather is.
He stated that the weather doesn’t make any difference to him. Sometimes, there will be sunny days and sometimes there will be rainy days. It is just something that a golfer has to adjust to. Watson has a record of 5-3 in the event and also reached the semi final stages back in 2011.
He stated that on the next day, he will have to play against one person and not worry about the rest of the field. Bubba Watson that he is hopeful that he can hit some better shots and make more putts compared to his opponent on the day.
