All the pro’s have such an immaculate golf swing, but if you were getting paid to hit golf balls you would too. I wish I had more time to play! Just would like to have half of any pro swing! Amazing swing!

its like a longer version of tigers ‘93 swing

@iseekgolf i think its a great picture! stop complaining assholes!

  7. 4JRimmer says:

This spine angle/clubhead relation is bs, the only thing that counts is clubhead angle releating to swing *plane* (typically = shaft plane). That spine angle/forearm/clubhead/feel-free-to-add-any-other-stupid-parts-of-body-here angle relations crap is psuedo-science from idiots.

  8. italodiscorevival says:

The clubhead should be slightly closed in the b/s in order to be parallel to the spine angle.

@hmor333 Ha good looks I heard he’s a rock star in Asia

  10. waltercharliesmith says:

He seems quite across the line at the top of the second swing?

  11. SoftBank47 says:

1:23 Take a look at that reverse C. If he keeps that up, he’s gonna have mad back problems later in his career unless he’s as flexible as a rubber band.

lol the smoke in the top right must have been from bubba watson… Bombing golf courses like its his day job… oh wait it is :P

@atoomey212 agreed. i dont care if you shoot 58 and win a million times on the japan tour. come on, they play like 6500 yds golf courses. plus that swing needs a little work. although his across the line position reminds of an early tiger from the amateur and 97 masters days just not with the same power.

  14. atoomey212 says:

SO overrated this kid… hes only on the us tour and given all these exemptions because he does really well on a very inferior japanese tour…. lets see him hold his own with the proven rickie fowler and rory mcilroy

    @raphtm
Not on plane? How do you think he is a top golfer? That is very interesting.
It seems you would say Kaymer is also not on plane? This technique that is very common amongst the young players requires rotation of the left forearms in the backswing after the wrists start to hinge.Ever heard of that before?

good player. closed clubface comin back

  23. rLynch0317 says:

There’s nothing wrong with his swing. I suppose i have a “future” swing too then cuz I am very shut at the top because I don’t rotate the club too much but I still only play like a 5 yard draw. Even tho I’m closed I can still hit any shot like a fade or slice because I manage to get the club square at impact

  24. TheRealOzzie234 says:

What Ryo’s doing with the club in the backswing is being tuly square (as the real geometrical def.) to plane,,,, this is part of what make his so damn good and reliable. What common (mis-)belief calls square and “on plane” is a conceptual relic that been passed on since middle ages. Dumb back then, even moreso today. Go Ryo!
